I had this poetry book when I was a child in the 50s. The poems and pictures are emblazoned in my memory, and it is such a treat to revisit them.
The poems are classics, still in some children's poetry books today, and ones on which we feasted as kids. Timeless. And so much fun to read aloud. It was an expensive treat for myself, but worth it/5(27).
